If it's tranquility and nature you
seek, Icy Strait Point is your
destination. Hosting only "one ship at a time", Icy Strait Point
provides guests with rich wildlife tours and authentic native Tlingit
culture. Located near Glacier Bay and the historic native settlement of
Hoonah, Icy Strait Point is situated in an Old Growth Spruce & Hemlock
Rainforest. The area is home to humpback whales, orca, Dall's porpoises,
seals, sea otters, brown (grizzly) bear, halibut, and all five species of
Pacific salmon. On many days, multitudes of bald eagles can be seen.
