RCCL Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Profile

RCCL Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Profile
RCCL Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Profile

RCCL Royal Caribbean Cruise Line continues to lead the cruise industry in innovation especially with their cruise ships - beautiful floating resorts that are bigger and brighter, with a lot more open spaces and private balconies. Their first Voyager-family ship, Voyager of the Seas®, debuted on November 21, 1999, and represents the dawn of a new era in cruising. Guests will discover shipboard amenities and adventures never before available on a cruise ship, such as signature rock-climbing walls, which now appear fleetwide; as well as, Royal Caribbean's personal and friendly "Gold Anchor Service" will make you feel right at home.

The Royal Caribbean Advantage

No one gives you a more unique and exciting way to experience Alaska. Only Royal Caribbean International lets you enjoy an in-depth tour of Alaska in the comfort of a single extended stay. Let them do the traveling for you. Unpack once and wake up in a new port every morning. Remarkable destinations, the most amazing and innovative ships, energizing onboard and shoreside adventures, and service that exceeds all expectations give you the best possible vacation - it's called The Royal Advantage.SM

Gold Anchor Service

It's how Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will make your cruise adventure even more memorable. One thing that keeps their guests coming back again and again is friendly and personal service. Maybe it's a server who remembers the name of your daughter's teddy bear. Or the bartender who remembers the extra olive. Or perhaps the housekeeper who reminds you of your dinner reservation time. Their unique style of service will enhance every aspect of your cruise. No matter where you are - the pool, the dining room, the spa or your room - get ready to be wowed! And we deliver it 24 hours a day. This is way beyond normal service. This is Gold Anchor Service.

Entertainment and Activities

Royal Caribbean International Entertainment, activitiesd and Casinos The gorgeous view isn't the only thing that will dazzle you onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. See a Broadway-style show or catch a live band playing every night. Or be part of the fun with ballroom dancing lessons, ice skating, or mini-golf. Then write home to tell everyone about it in the Internet Café.

And at night, the excitement onboard the cruise ship doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Dance the night away to hot Latin rhythms, watch a live band play your favorite song, laugh with a comedian, or enjoy a cocktail with some new friends in one of many Royal Caribbean bars, lounges and discos.

Casinos

There's nothing like the sound of cards being shuffled, chips being stacked and slot machines paying off. Consider Royal Caribbean's Casino RoyaleSM to be a little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Monte Carlo and a lot of RCCL fun. We've got games for all levels of players. There are onboard lessons for novice players and tournaments for the more advanced. Casino Royale is open whenever you are sailing, so stop in and try your luck!

Sports and Fitness

Royal Caribbean International Onboard Activities - Get Out There! RCCL offers so many sports and fitness choices that you'll break a sweat just trying to choose what to do next. Play basketball or volleyball on the Sports Deck. Climb Royal Caribbean's signature rock climbing walls. Take a spinning class or train with a trained professional. Then catch your breath with a yoga class while you enjoy the ocean view.

ShipShape Spa Program

With so much to do onboard, plus countless adventures on land, remember to take time for yourself. After all, it's your vacation! So why not indulge a little and head to the ShipShape® Day Spa.

Treat yourself to a pedicure or facial, or go for something you've never tried before, like a seaweed wrap or aroma stone therapy massage. Let us soothe your body, smooth your skin and send your mind to a sensory heaven. You may even surprise yourself. What seems fun and extravagant is actually a pathway to your own personal well-being.

Adventure Ocean Youth and Teen Programs

Fun isn't just for adults at RCCL. Kids from 3-17 are invited to take part in the exciting, complimentary Adventure Ocean® Youth Programs. Adventure Ocean was specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. But one thing never changes: your child will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments, and make great new friends. To participate, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free). And you can feel confident leaving your children with them because every member of their youth staff holds a college degree in education or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children. Learn more about Adventure Ocean.

Dining

Royal Caribbean International Dining The dining experience on Royal Caribbean is as exciting as every other aspect of life onboard. There's so much to choose from that you won't know where to start. From the delicious offerings in the main dining room, to the convenience of the Windjammer Café, to the intimate atmosphere of the many specialty restaurants, they have a dining experience for every mood. In addition to extensive specialty menus, all Royal Caribbean cruise ships also offer spa, kid's, and, if you arrange in advance, kosher menus.

Staterooms

Royal Caribbean International Staterooms After a day of exploring the world, its exotic cuisine and interesting cultures, there's nothing better than returning to the comfort of your private stateroom. They've designed every one of their staterooms to be a comfortable, relaxing place for you to rest after your adventures. Staterooms vary by ship, but every room offers a television, telephone, private bathroom, shower, vanity and even a hair-dryer.

Royal Caribbean offers four main categories of staterooms. By choosing a category, you can then choose a specific room-type, based on your needs.

  • Suites: Suites offer more room, comfort and luxury. Most come with a private balcony and all include standard features. Some suites even include complimentary concierge service, which includes access to a private lounge as well as personalized service to help with making reservations or other arrangements. Suites are a great way to travel in style and give your family more space, while keeping everyone together. The Royal Family Suite can accommodate up to eight people.
  • Balcony Staterooms: Imagine opening your balcony door to see a new and breathtaking part of the world each morning. A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination.
  • Oceanview Staterooms: Spend the day exploring the world, then come back to your room and don't miss a thing. Take in the spectacular sights and enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the window in your stateroom.
  • Interior Staterooms: Relax in all the comfort of an interior stateroom. These nicely appointed rooms are an excellent value. For an interior room with a view, there are the Promenade Staterooms, available on all Voyager-family ships. They offer all the features of a standard stateroom, plus a bowed window overlooking the Promenade.

Accessibility Cruising

As one of the most accessible-friendly cruise lines at sea, Royal Caribbean's goal is make all guests as comfortable as possible, both on and off the ship. Guests with mobility impairments will find that Royal Caribbean cruise ships were designed with spacious corridors to accommodate 180° turns for wheelchairs. Most decks are accessible through automatic doors, and all public rooms feature entrances with gradual inclines. They provide accessible staterooms ranging from 159 square feet to 298 square feet, offering a five-foot turning radius in sleeping areas, bathrooms and sitting areas for easy maneuverability. Guests with visual and/or hearing impairments will also find a Royal Caribbean cruise to be a most remarkable vacation experience. Learn more about Royal Caribbean's special needs program.

Please note: If you or a family member requires special assistance during your cruise, please do not book your cruise online. Instead, call our office and speak with a Cruise Specialist. Our agents will do their best to find you the best cabins and work out the details to make your trip a wonderful experience.
