Princess Cruises Cancellation and Refund Policy


Cancellation Updates:
Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refund guidelines for various cruise lines. Contact your Sales Agent or our Customer Service department online, via email, or by phone at 1-800-201-6937 and ask about potential opportunities for flexible cancellation policies, rebooking opportunities and other options.

Effective with new bookings made on or after Mar 4, 2024, our 100% Cancellation Fee policy will shift to 30 days prior to sail date, as the current policy of 14-days prior to sail date will be discontinued. All existing bookings will follow the outgoing policy. It's important to note that voyages of five days or less will now have a final payment due date of 90 days, rather than 75 days prior to sail.

You are required to pay a cancellation fee (including 3rd and 4th berths) if You cancel Your Cruise, Cruisetour or Cruise Plus package. Cancellation fees are based on the fare paid, excluding Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses, transfers, fuel supplement(s), surcharges, shore and land excursions and most pre-purchased gift(s) and/or special service(s). You are not entitled to any refund, payment, compensation or credit except as otherwise provided in this Section. Any refunds will be made directly to the method of payment You used at the time of booking or Your travel agent and You must receive Your refund directly from these sources. You may cancel by telephone or electronic advice via a Carrier-approved Computer Reservation System, provided Carrier immediately receives written confirmation of cancellation. In such case cancellation shall be deemed effective as of the close of business Pacific Standard Time on the date You communicated such cancellation.

CANCELLATION POLICY EXCEPTION(S): 1. If you have purchased a specially priced promotion where the deposit is 100% non-refundable from the point of payment, You are not entitled to any refund, payment, compensation or credit whatsoever of Your deposit under any circumstance if you cancel Your booking. 2. If you have purchased a specially priced promotion that is 100% non-refundable from the point of payment, You are not entitled to any refund, payment, compensation or credit whatsoever of Your Cruise or Cruisetour fare if You cancel Your booking.

Groups: New group contracts will be set up with the new policy effective Mar 4, 2024. Existing group contracts will remain under our current cancellation policy. In addition, new group contracts will have a 90-day group amenity recall date.
